The WI offers all women the opportunity to make new friends, learn new skills and campaign on wide ranging issues. The 2024 campaign is 'Dental Health Matters' and ongoing campaigns include: 'Stop Modern Slavery', 'End Plastic Soup', 'No More Violence Against Women' and 'SOS For Honeybees'

We meet on the first Tuesday of the month at 7-15pm at the Congregational Church in Belper.

Belper Women's Institute is a friendly inclusive group.  We meet on the first Tuesday of the month at 7-15pm at the Congregational Church in Belper.

We currently have almost 60 members, of all ages.

At every main meeting there is guest speaker or an activity along with a chance to catch up with other members over tea and biscuits and if we are lucky, cake.

We also have a monthly social/craft meeting, a regular walking group and coffee mornings.
